へんぴんしたいです

I can't really discuss work things on here, but some of you reading this blog will know that it was my first day today and are anxiously awaiting an update. It went well and I have some really nice new colleagues to work with.

That's about as much as I can say on the work front - so the rest of the day will be quite boring since my commute takes up a lot of time. I have two work places, one is 45 minutes minimum away and the other is 50 minutes minimum so it took some time to travel.

Once I got home, I had decided I needed to return two items that I'd bought in the name of storage that seemed superfluous when I got them set up and just took up room. So armed with Amy's helpful Japanese guide (the phrase for 'return please!' - べんぴんしいです) I went to the store and attempted to be an adult.

It worked! Surprising right?

I returned two items, not a problem - easiest returns I've ever done in my life. I then of course went straight back and bought more stuff with the return money, but it's stuff that I actually needed this time so I class that as a win!

The blog may be a little boring for the next few days as I'm starting to settle into a routine and am going to work which I cannot discuss online, so I'm going to start once a week updates with maybe a special blog thrown in if anything particularly interesting happens.
